About Me!
Hello! I was a web designer in the early days of the Internet. I had a GeoCities page (I wish I could find it) back in 1997. I kept it up to date with information about my favorite things. I have a lot of fond memories of that time, and of playing around with design elements and making pretty web pages. I started my career (in 1999!) as a web designer for a large project management company and had an absolute blast. While I haven't done web design for decades, I wanted to have a small little presence on the web.
This is my wife and me. This is about as close as I get to putting up actual images of myself on the Internet. My daughter made this in her video game and has been trying to get us to "fall in love". But, she took this screenshot and I have absolutely fallen head over heels for it.
My favorite things in life are hanging out with my family (two at home, two away), playing music (I am both a pianist and an organist), bicycling, reading, and watching cricket. I still work in the computer industry, but now in my "old age" I'm in management. I do very much miss the day-to-day, but it has been fun to watch me hand off that portion of my career to the younger generation.
My plans for this website are to talk about my hobbies, fun books I have read, and all that jazz. I know that one of my kiddos has linked this website, and for that I am absolutely stunned. That is so cool! Anyway, enjoy the website and I have you have fun!
